Two quacks were today arrested
in the district, police said here.
Akbar (35) and Thamaraiselvan (27) had been running clinics attached with medical shops at Mullakurichi claiming themselves to be doctors, police said.
On a complaint from Village Administrative Officer Muthukumar, the two were arrested under IPC section 420 (cheating) and Medical Council of India Act, they added.
