Two villages in the Jaipur district will be developed as 'Health Smart Villages' at the initiative of Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh, under which data will be collected and computerised to manage the health scenario of the places.
Rajasthan University of Health Sciences will develop Lakhesara and Kapurwala village as the 'Health Smart Villages' which will have better treatment facilities for its residents.
University's Vice-Chancellor Rajababu Panwar gave a presentation about the e-health initiative model before the Governor.

Under the project, data related with health and demography will be collected from the village and computerised.
This data will help medical and health authorities to manage the health scenario of the villages.
After the assessment of data, resources required for the villages will also be provided so that health services could be improved in there, according to a release.
