A court here has sentenced two persons to varied imprisonment for kidnapping and raping a woman more than two years ago.
Additional Sessions Judge Sanjeev Kumar Tyagi sentenced Parveen to 10 years imprisonment and Satender to 8 years for kidnapping the woman from police circle Kotwali Sakroli in May 2013, when she had gone to the market in Jalesar town.
Satendra, Praveen of the village kidnapped the woman, who was recovered from the possession of the convicts.
A medical exmination confirmed the rape.
