District and Sessions Judge Hazaribagh Rama Shankar Shukla sentenced Sagar Khalko and Chotu Lakra, both daily wage workers, to the prison term and slapped a fine of Rs 2,000 each for the crime against the girl committed on April 20, 2010.
According to the FIR, which was filed by the victim's brother, the minor girl, who was ten years then, was returning home with her relatives after attending a wedding ceremony in the locality at night when the two forcibly took her away and raped her.
