Two senior citizens were allegedly killed by robbers who struck their houses, police said today.
Sandhyprabha (62) was strangulated by robbers who entered her house in Quarsi area of Aligarh this morning, police said, adding that they took away her ornaments.
In a similar incident, eight to ten persons killed Ram Swarup (85) and injured three others after barging into his house in Mirganj locality of Rae Bareli district last night, police said.
They escaped with cash and ornaments.
According to police, the accused also looted another house in the locality, but no one was injured there.
FIRs have been registered in both the cases and investigations are on, they said.
