Two persons, including an elderly woman, were shot dead in two separate incidents in the district, police said here today.
Amandeep (16) was shot at during group clash over irrigating a field at Badosarai area this morning, and died while being taken to hospital.
In another incident, Lajjawati (60) was shot dead allegedly by her nephew Dinesh over property dispute in Banar village in Fatehpur area last night, police said.
Dinesh and his wife Poonam were absconding after the incident, it said.
Police said that FIRs have been lodged in both the cases and the matter was being investigated.
