Two persons were shot dead by
unidentified persons in Fhardhan area of Lakhimpur district, police sources said here today.
Premchandra Pandey (45) and his relative Sushil Pandey were shot dead near Odarhana Road late last evening while they were returning home on a motorcycle, they said.
Police said that there were cases pending against the deceased.
An FIR has been lodged and efforts were being made to arrest the killers, they said.
