A petrol pump owner and an engineer were shot dead in two separate incidents in the state capital, police said here today.
Yesterday, M V Trivedi (69), a petrol pump owner at Riverbank Colony in Wazirganj area, was shot at by motorcycle borne assailants, who also looted Rs 13 lakh cash from him.
The incident took place when he was going to deposit the money in the bank, police said.
