Two suspected militants arrested, four IEDs recovered

Security forces have arrested two over ground workers (OGWs) of militants in south Kashmir's Anantnag district today and recovered four IEDs from them, police said.

A joint team of police, CRPF and Army arrested the two OGWs Bilal Ahmad Mir of Bufandan Mohalla Cheni-Chowk and Shabir Ahmad Khan of Watnard from the district's Kokernag area after receiving specific information, a police spokesman said.

Four IEDs were recovered from Watnard after the two were interrogated, the spokesman said.

This is the third module busted in the district this month, he said adding, a case has been registered and further interrogation of the arrested men is on.
