Two teenage girls abducted

Two teenage girl were allegedly abducted in separate incidents from Muradpur Avana village near here and Dhadekatwal area respectively, police said today.

On the complaint of girl's father, police today booked three persons identified as Navdeep Singh, Kirandeep Singh and Harvinder Singh, all from Muradpur Avana village.

In his complaint to the police, her father said that his 13-year-old daughter, a ninth standard student at village Chack Alla Baksh, left her house on August 15 for attending Independence Day function, but did not return.

He suspected that the accused might have abducted his daughter, they said.

In another case, police registered a case of alleged abduction of a 17-year-old girl, resident of Dhadekatwal, from her house on August 3.
 

Her father said that his daughter was alone at her house and he suspected that someone might have abducted her for marriage, police said.
