Two teenagers, who were stuck in an 100-ft deep well, were today rescued by Fire and Rescue Department personnel at Thudiyalur, on the outskirts of the city.
Both had gone to their friend's farm and were trying to catch birds and had got down into the well, without knowing its depth, police said.
Fire service personnel toiled for nearly one hour to bring them up, police added.
