Two tiger cubs were born in the Delhi Zoo, a day after its oldest tigress died, officials said today.
The cubs, offsprings of White Royal Bengal Tigress Nirbhaya and Royal Bengal Tiger Karan, were born yesterday.
They are in good health and would be constantly monitored. A special diet has been assigned to them, the zoo official said.
They would be shown to the public after a couple of months, he said.
The birth of these cubs comes after the death of 25-year-old tigress Priya who passed away due to age-related ailments on Tuesday.
