Two rare variety of tokay geckos were recovered from a man from the railway station here today, a GRP official said.
One Helarius Hansda (23) was arrested after the reptiles were found in his possession in a plastic container by the Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel.
He was carrying the lizards to elsewhere.
Later the nocturnal creatures were handed over to the forest department, the police said.
