robbers opened fire at them during a futile loot attempt in Hiranmagri area of Udaipur today, police said here.
Pramod and Sheru tried to rob Shyam and Pawan when the traders were on way to their residence, they said.
The traders, however, raised an alarm and people present nearby rushed to their help, they said adding, in a bid to escape the robbers opened fire at Shyam and Pawan.
The police team chased the robbers and arrested them from a nearby area.
The two traders were admitted to a hospital, where their condition was stated as stable, police said.
