Two robbers, who had allegedly killed a truck driver and looted his vehicle recently, has been arrested here, police said today.
Muntajir and Nawab were arrest last night during checking of vehicles, they said.
The Badalpur Police stopped a truck carrying six persons, but the men could not produce documents of the vehicle.
Four of them escaped, while two were arrested, police said.
On interrogation, they revealed that they had robbed the truck and killed its driver in Hapur on Thursday night.
The accused said they were going to Bulandshahar at the time of the arrest.
The accused have confessed to have committed truck robberies in Badalpur, Meerut, Hapur and Bulandshar areas.
