Two undertrials fled from the custody while being taken to Badaun for hearing in a court, police said today.
Mukhtar and Mukesh, who were in handcuffs managed to flee from the bus while being taken to Badaun for hearing, Superintendent of Police Tehsildar Singh said.
AN FIR in this regard has been registered in Sahsaban police station against the undertrials and two policemen accompanying them, he said.
While Mukhtar is in jail over cow slaughter,a fraud case is pending against Mukesh.
