Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik today appointed the vice chancellors of two state's universities.
The Governor has appointed Professor M P Dubey, Allahabad University's political science department head as the vice chancellor of UP Rajarshi Tandon Open University (Allahabad) and Prof Akhtar Haseeb of plant protection department (Aligarh Muslim University) as the vice chancellor of Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad.
The term of the vice chancellors would be three years from the date of their assuming office, the Governor's principal secretary Ms Juthika Patankar said in an official release here.
