Two wanted in connection with attempt to murder case arrested

Two property dealers wanted in connection with an attempt to murder case were arrested from Mahavir Enclave in Palam area, police said today.

Crime Branch cops arrested Vijay Dabas alias Bholu 27, and Krishanpal Dabas alias Chotu, 22, from their hideout at Mahavir Enclave, yesterday, said Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Alok Kumar.

They had allegedly tried to kill Yogesh Mathur, 30, a resident of Mohammad Pur Mazri, on July 7 by firing at him. Yogesh was injured in the firing and was admitted to a hospital.

An FIR was registered at Aman Vihar police station in this connection.

During interrogation the duo told the police that they had a property dealing business in which they had a dispute with Yogesh over a plot measuring 200 yards, situated at Ustav Vihar, and they tried to eliminate him.
