Violating safety norms, two-wheelers that were parked in unauthorised spaces in airport here were today towed away by police.
Police said parking vehicles in spaces earmarked for other purposes in airport was both a safety hazard and could also cause traffic congestion in the busy airport area.
Meanwhile, a passenger safety awareness campaign was held today at the airport. Airport Director Deepak Shastri, several other top officials participated.
