Two women, including a 50-year-old Nigerian, were apprehended from Safdurjung area on Monday allegedly with 50 grams of cocaine worth around Rs 50 lakh. They were identified as Sheetal (21) and Nigerian national Giwa Kadeejat.

"Sheetal had come to get the drug from the Nigerian," Ashok Chand, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), said.

Kadeejat came to India two years ago on a business visa and she used to sent consignments of textiles to her home country.

"As her business was not doing well, she went back to Nigeria. She came back to India this January and started trafficking in cocaine. She procured cocaine from a fellow Nigerian," Chand said.

Sheetal belongs to Chidawa in Rajasthan. She came to Delhi with her mother when she was a child. "In 2005, Sheetal got married but the next year she left her in-laws' house. She became a part of the call girl racket and also provided cocaine to her clients," Chand said.
