Two women drug traffickers arrested

Two alleged women drug traffickers who have been absconding since the last several years after jumping bail were arrested by the Crime Branch of Delhi Police.

The two women identified Ruby (40) and Manorama (30) both residents of Loni, Ghaziabad were arrested from Wazirabad Road area in Delhi following a tip off by the a team of Crime Branch.

"They had been previously arrested in Delhi for drug trafficking, but after grant of bail, they had absconded," said Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ashok Chand.

Their examination revealed that Ruby had been arrested in a case of possession of heroin by Narcotics Cell in the year 2008. After being released on bail, she absconded and fled to Srinagar.
 

"Manorama disclosed that she was arrested by Crime Branch in case of possession of heroin in 2010. After being released on bail, she absconded and hid in the area of Loni, Ghaziabad, UP," said Chand.
