A woman and her daughter-in-law died today after coming in contact with a live wire in Sujangarh area of Churu district today, police said.
55-year-old Champa Devi Mali and her daughter-in-law Chhoti Devi (35) were hanging washed cloths on a wire made of iron when the incident took place, they said.
The wire came in contact with a live electricity wire electrocuting both the women, police said.
The bodies were handed over to family members after conducting postmortem.
