Two workers hurt in blaze die while undergoing treatment

Two workers, who were injured in a fire at a distillery plant here in Chhattisgarh early this week, died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Anil Kumar Dhruv (27) of Khurdur village (Bilaspur) and Dharmaraj Vishwakarma (43) of Bihar were admitted with serious burn injuries on May 22 at Apollo hospital and died yesterday during treatment, hospital's Public Relation Officer (PRO) Devesh Gopal said today.

Three more workers - Ajay Jaiswal (44), Krishna Maravi (36) and Jagdev Gwal (27) -- were undergoing treatment at the hospital, he added.

On May 22, five workers were injured in a major fire erupted after an explosion in the boiler atWelcome Distilleries Private Ltd located in Chherkabandha village on under Kota development block of the district.
 

All the workers were admitted to the hospital.
