Sudesh and Tej Singh alleged irregularities were committed in a recent exam of pharmacists and demanded impartial probe.
However, they were later pacified by the officials of medical education department following which they stepped down after four hours, police said.
"Competent officials assured them to address their demands so they came down. The students also met with senior officers with regard to their problem," they said.
