They said the incident happened when the victims were coming out of their car on the road-side when a truck coming from behind crushed them on the spot.
The dead have been identified as Munnu Kumar (25) and Amit Kumar (26), the police said, adding that the bodies have been taken for post-mortem at the Sadar Hospital.
The truck driver managed to flee from the scene.
