Two youths drowned today in Thirumurthy Dam in Tirupur district where they had gone to take bath, police said.
The duo, who were part of a five member group who were on a picnic to the dam from Gomangalam Pudur in the district, stuck in the slush and died.
On information, Fire and Rescue Service personnel rushed to the spot and are searching for the bodies, police said.
