Tytler had earlier written a letter to International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Ethics Commission of the apex body had recommended that the tainted trio of Suresh Kalmadi, Lalit Bhanot and V K Verma, be suspended from all their functions within the IOA.
The IOA, however, has so far, dilly-dallied on the suggestion of the IOC, prompting Tytler to write another letter to Quraishi.
"Indian Olympic association is going through lot of corruption chargers due to involvement of three person i.E Mr Suresh Kalmadi, Mr Lalit Bhanot and Mr V K Verma into Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010. These three persons have been charged by the court and are out on bail," Tytler said in his letter.
"A corruption of unmanageable amount took place into CWG 2010 and on the basis of CBI investigation, the CBI charge sheeted them who have given a bad name to the Sports Federations and a negative perception have created towards the sports associations.
"I came to know that these three gentlemen want to contest the IOA election. I would like to request you as a vice president of IOA, since the election process starts on the 4th of November, 2012, you are requested to intervene into this matter and let IOA know your opinion on the report and analysis of IOC's Ethic Commission that should IOA ignore the recommendations of IOC's Ethic commission?," he said.
Tytler also enclosed the correspondence from IOC along with the letter and also asked Quraishi to write to the IOC regarding the position of the tainted trio, if he feels it necessary. More
