The Rs 50,000 cover under the CM Health Insurance Scheme might be raised next year, Rawat said while speaking at the third anniversary celebration of Max Super Speciality Hospital here.
Emphasising that the state has good potential for medial tourism, the Chief Minister said private health industry should complement the government's efforts in realising this objective.
While urging the private hospitals to go beyond Dehradun, Rawat said air connectivity in the state is "very good" and efforts are being made to expand the rail connectivity as well.
