An Indian man in UAE has been arrested for the alleged murder of a 28-year-old compatriot.
The accused was arrested yesterday by the Sharjah police only 24 hours after the crime.
Police said they received a call on Sunday saying that the body of an Indian was lying on a chair in the guard's room of a construction company in Al Dhaid area.

A team, including forensic experts, patrol, ambulance and Public Prosecution officials, rushed to the scene and found the body in a pool of blood as he was hit in the head with a blunt tool, the Khaleej Times reported.
Police arrested the suspect within 24 hours of the crime. During interrogation, the suspect reportedly confessed to the crime as the victim had insulted him the day before.
The suspect has been referred for public prosecution.
