London's transport regulator has decided not to renew the licence of the US-based cab aggregator Uber for safety reasons, authorities said today.
The ride-hailing company's licence to operate in the British capital will expire on September 30.
Uber will not be issued a new private hire licence, Transport for London (TfL) said today, BBC reported.

The company, however, has three weeks to appeal, during which it can continue to operate.
In a statement, Uber said that it would appeal to keep licence for London.
