A memorandum was today submitted to Union ministers Suresh Prabhu and Birender Singh by locals of Uchana village, listing several demands including for construction of an underpass towards Narwana.
The ministers were here to attend a function which was cut short due to malfunctioning of a microphone, forcing the duo to leave for Narwana without making any speech.
The locals later submitted their memorandum to the ministers through BJP MLA Premlata.
In the memorandum, the villagers sought for construction of shelters for passengers and outpost for RPF personnel at the local railway station among other demands.
