Udayan Das, accused of murdering live-in partner Akanksha Sharma and his parents, today said during interrogation that during his childhood he was regularly bullied by friends which, an interrogator said, could have contributed to his evolving into a psycopath.
The accused, who was brought here on a transit remand from Bhopal late Monday night and remanded to eight-day police custody yesterday, told the police sleuths that he had hardly any "real friend" in his life and that several of his friends were 'virtual'.
The team of four officers, including Bankura SP Sukhendu Hira, which is conducting the grilling since last evening, also found out that Udayan had set up hundreds of email accounts under different names and also opened many accounts in the social networking sites.

"He (Udayan) seems to be a very sly person. He is trying to misdirect us... Initially, we thought he was cooperating with us but then we found him giving replies which are absolutely irrelevant to our questions case," the officer said.
Speaking in broken Bengali, Udayan admitted to killing Akanksha sometime last year and entombing her body in his house in Bhopal to hide the crime.
"Udayan told us that the idea of entombing Akanksha's body came to his mind after watching an American crime film "Devil's Knot", the officer said.
The police officer said that the grilling would
continue till the motive behind the killing of Akanksha was unearthed.
The Bankura police also interrogated Akanksha's parents in connection with their daughter's alleged murder.
Udayan had allegedly killed Akanksha sometime last year and entombed her body on a platform covered with marble slabs in his house in Bhopal.
The incident came to light when state police officers went to Bhopal to find out the whereabouts of Akanksha following a complaint lodged by her father Shivendra Sharma.
After his arrest by the Bhopal Police, Udayan subsequently admitted to killing both of his parents and based on his confessions, the police unearthed the skeletons from his Raipur home.
