Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today said the Congress-led ruling United Democratic Front was 'confident' of facing the Assembly elections, due in a few months, having implemented its declared agenda of 'development with care'.
Addressing a press conference here after a cabinet meeting, he pointed to the various development projects like SmartCity IT Park, Kannur International Airport, Vizhinhjam International Deepwater Seaport project and Kochi Metro which were in an advanced stage of completion.
"We are confident of facing the elections after completion of five-year rule," he said.

It was decided to holdthe budget session of the Assembly would from February 5 to 25. The budget would be presented on February 12, he said.
