UK army chief Gen Nick Carter today visited Indian Army's South Western Command here and discussed various issues of mutual interest and avenues of professional cooperation between the two countries.
"Gen Carter was received with traditional military honours upon his arrival at Jaipur. He had an interaction with South Western Army Commander Lt Gen Sarath Chand and other senior officers of the Command," defence spokesperson Lt Col Manish Ojha said.
"Various issues of mutual interest and avenues of professional cooperation between the two Armies were discussed by them," he said in a release.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed forces of the United Kingdom, accompanied by his spouse Louise Anne Ewart and his staff officers, is visiting the command from November 15-16.
