A sleepy burglar in the UK who dozed off in the house he was raiding has been jailed after the owner returned to find him sleeping soundly on the bed.
The 22-year-old crook was in such deep sleep that his victim had time to call the police, who caught him while he was still asleep in the house in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
The burglar, named Frankie Flannigan, has been jailed for 18 months at Leeds Crown Court after he admitted burglary, the 'Daily Express' reported.

Then he went back inside, climbed into a bed upstairs and drifted off to sleep.
The woman who owned the house found Flannigan when she came home in the evening and saw broken glass and items missing.
Flannigan was arrested on the spot and admitted burglary.
