The militant identified as Wangli Moran alias Diganta Bora exchanged fire with police in the dense forest, under Pengari police station, during a police operation there, police sources said.
An AK-81 assault rifle, four AK series magazines, 25 bullets and documents were recovered from the slain ultra, the sources said.
