A deputy engineer with Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation was allegedly roughed up by a group of women activists in his chamber, police said today.
"The incident happened in the chamber of Sanjay Gaikwad, posted with water supply department, at about 11.30 AM yesterday. Around 20 women barged in his cabin, snatched away documents form his hand, tore his cloths and smeared his face with black paint," said Hill Line police sub-inspector SM Pawar.
