US-based UM Motorcycles and its Indian partner Lohia Auto will launch first cruiser bike in the country in February during the Auto Expo in New Delhi.
"The first cruiser product will be rolled out during the Auto Expo in February 2016," Lohia Auto Industries CEO Ayush Lohia told reporters here.
UM Motorcycles and Lohia Auto had formed an equal stake joint venture (JV) in September last year for manufacturing new products including a range of motorcycles -- cruisers and bikes (300 to 500 cc) for the Indian market.

An investment of Rs 100 crore is being made by the JV for business expansion.
The company's Kashipur facility in Uttarakhand is utilised by the JV firm with an installed capacity to produce one lakh two-wheelers and 40,000 three-wheelers annually.
Lohia Auto Industries, an automobile division of the Rs 600-crore Lohia conglomerate here today announced its entry into Southern market with the launch of its e-scooters, e-rickshaws and diesel three-wheelers.
"We have appointed five dealership network in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana and we are looking to open 50 dealerships in the Southern market," Lohia added.
