"The Maharashtra ATS tortured her and she has not been able to recover from it. She has problem walking on her own. There are apprehensions that she may be suffering from cancer," Bharti told reporters after meeting her in the jail.
Bharti said that she was praying that ultimately her innocence would be proved in the court.
Pragya was prime accused in the Malegaon bomb blast that took place on September 29, 2008, in which six persons were killed and about 100 others injured.
