:Southwest monsoon has been active over Telangana.Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka, at many places over Kerala and Telangana and at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Lakshadweep.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres are:TAMIL NADU: Chinnakallar (Coimbatore dt) and Sendamangalam (Namakkal dt) 1 each.

KERALA : Mattanur (Kannur district), Thrissur, Irinjalakuda & Kunnamkulam (both in Thrissur district) 3 each, CIAL Kochi & Perumbavur (both in Ernakulam district), Kannur, Irikkur & Cheruthazham ($ARG) (both in Kannur district), Chalakudy & Enamackel (both in Thrissur district) & Kuppady (Wayanad district) 2 each and Punalur & Aryankavu (both in Kollam district), Kottayam, Kumarakom (Kottayam district), Kozhikode, Vadakara & Quilandy (both in Kozhikode district), Vellanikkara & Kodungallur (both in Thrissur district), Cherthala (Alappuzha district), Aluva (Ernakulam district), Munnar (Idukki district),Taliparamba & Thalasserry (both in Kannur district), Mannarkad (Palakkad district), Vythiri, Ambalavayal & Pookot ($ARG) (all in Wayanad district) 1 each.
 

KARNATAKA: Basavakalyan (Bidar dt) 7, Mangalore (Dakshina Kannada dt), Panambur, Kerur, Ilkal (both Bagalkote dt), Alamatti (Bijapur dt) 4 each; Puttur (Dakshina Kannada dt), Kumta, Ankola (both Uttara Kannada dt), Karwar, Munirabad (Koppal dt), Hungund (Bagalkote dt), Kakkeri (Yadgir dt), Hulikal ARG (Shimoga dt), Hospet, Sandur (both Bellary dt) 3 each.
