The United Nations owes USD 54.60 million to India for its peacekeeping operations, the government said today.
In a written response to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State in the Defence Ministry Subhash Bhamre said the reimbursements due on on-going missions is USD 41.93 million and USD 12.67 million in case of closed missions.
India is an active participant in several UN peace- keeping missions.
