A US-based community organisation working for the welfare of Sindhi people has said it will brief the UN on the enforced disappearances and killings of the youth that take place in Pakistan's Sindh province.

A delegation of Sindhi Foundation comprising Hasan Mujtaba, journalist and human rights defender on Sindh and Sufi Laghari, executive director of the organisation will brief the 107th session of the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances to be held in Geneva on September 17, according to a media report.

The UN body would be briefed on enforced disappearances of Sindhi youth, their detentions at secret places, killings and being dumped in the past, the Washington-based organisation said in a statement.

"Those disappeared were neither produced in any court nor their charges and places of detention were made public. Never they were released either. Yet their perpetrators remain unaccounted for enjoying complete impunity," it said.

Sindh is one of the four provinces of Pakistan, located in the south east of the country.
