A meeting in this regard was held between the officials of Jharkhand Football Association and Tata Steel Sports department yesterday, the secretary of JFA, Gulam Rabbani, said.
Earlier, Jamshedpur had hosted the 34th Federation Cup tournament last September.
Senior vice-president of JFA, R C Mehta, said around 15/16 teams from across the country will be seen vying for the top prize during the three-week long tournament, which would be played at the JRD Tata sports complex and Gopal Maidan.
