The foundation stone of an underpass meant to facilitate movement of patients and their families between state-run SMS Hospital and Trauma Centre here was today laid by Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
The underpass will give patients and their families direct access between the main building of the hospital and trauma centre without facing traffic on the road, she said after the ceremony.
Raje directed the officials to complete the construction work in 15 months. The underpass will be built at a cost of around Rs 15 crore.
The proposed underpass is 34-meters long.A total of 22 shops will be built in the underpass.In front of these shops, there will be a 5-5 meter wide road on both sides.
