An undertrial escaped from police custody while he was taken to a Haridwar court, after which three police constables, who were escorting him, were suspended.
The undertrial, Irshad, was being taken from a jail here to a Haridwar Court for case hearing yesterday. He escaped by jumping off a moving train at Luksar in Haridwar district, police said.
Three police constables Prevender Rathi, Sandeep and Ram Singh, were suspended by SSP Manjil Singh.
