Atul alias Raja was admitted here yesterday after he complained of pain in abdomen from Balrampur jail, where he was lodged in a Gangster Act case, they said.
He dodged the constables Indradev Bharti and Arvind Kumar Pandey, who were accompanying him, yesterday night and fled.
Taking note of the incident, Superintendent of Police, Balrampur Sonia Singh has suspended both the constables.
Search is on the nab the undertrial, police said.
