An undertrial prisoner, accused in a number of cases of robberies, today manage to escape from the Tis Hazari court complex after his interim bail plea was rejected, police said.
Satyendra was booked for allegedly robbing a Mumbai-based businessman in central Delhi in 2014 and was out on interim bail, they said.
Today, his bail application was rejected by the court and it ordered him to be sent to judicial custody.
While the formalities of the court were being done, he managed to escape, police said, adding efforts are on to arrest him.
