Six undertrials today escaped from a court premises by throwing red chilli powder on policemen escorting them to the jail van after hearing in Anoopshahr, police said.
Nine undertrials were presented at the ACJM court here of whom six managed to escape. One of them was later apprehended, Senior-SP Anees Ansari said.
The rest are still at large, he said.
