An undertrial was today injured after a scuffle broke out between him and two other inmates while they were being taken back from a local court to the jail, police said.
The undertrial, identified as Man Singh, in jail for the last 10 months, has received internal injury and also developed swelling on his face in the fight, an official of the Sadar police station said.
"Undertrials Anil and Hari Om attacked undertrial Man Singh at a place very close to the jail when they were being brought from Court to the jail. They were controlled by the security staff," police said.
Anil and Hari Om who are in jail in a murder case and incidentally all the three belong to village Baroda falling under Vrindaban police station, they added.
