President-elect of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) Miroslav Lajcak today met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj during which a number of issues, including reform of the world body, was discussed.
India has been pressing for reform of the UN besides pitching for its permanent membership at the UN Security Council.
"EAM @SushmaSwaraj meets Mr. @MiroslavLajcak , President Elect of the UNGA and Slovak Minister of Foreign & European Affairs," External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.
